Telstar Tire was introduced in 1970 to a growing family of private brand tire lines. In 1996, Treadways Corporation purchased Telstar and has established it as a premium private brand with exclusive product lines and tread designs.

In addition to Telstar, Treadways currently markets tires under the brand names Sumitomo Tire, Laramie Tire, Eldorado Tire, and Jetzon Tire. Treadways Corporation is based in the suburban Philadelphia area located in E. Norriton, Pennsylvania, and distributes our brands around the globe.

For use on passenger cars, Telstar's comprehensive line-up of touring, all-season and economy radial tires is complimented by an extensive offering of high performance products. These lines are backed by mileage warranties of up to 80,000 miles and a manufacturing warranty package.

SUV's and light trucks can be outfitted with Telstar's wide array of tread patterns designed for on or off road usage. Our product lines are extensive and enable our dealers to satisfy the needs of their marketplace.

We also supply our dealer network with product and technical information and support their marketing efforts with a staff of experienced regional sales managers. We work hand-in-hand with our distributor partners to develop products and programs that best meet their customers needs.
